Hey what do you think of some of this stuff?
Oh! I don't hate it - far from that. The concept is excellent. However, it needs fine tuning, and I think you understand this, yes? Even if I don't get the part, here a few pointers: Voldemort reigns supreme, he does not need a "hideout". He may have a base, yes, but not a hideout, so the name may need changing. The school name "Lorcan" refers to nothing in particular to do with Voldemort. Possibly "Walpurgis Knights" would be good? Or a reference to Slytherin. I would also try to get in the fact that Hogwarts castle is now under a Fidelius Charm to protect it from those who do not know the "secret" of its whereabouts; therefore it is protected from attack as it is no longer visible to Voldemort.

Where did you get that from?
I'm inclined to agree to a certain extent. Walpurgis Knights is genius, however it is also taken and pity the idiot who would wage war with Luciana over an RP she has all ready established with the same title/concept.
People should all ready know that Hogwarts is still protected, so stating the fact would be redundant but to save a few n00bs some thinking time it's a suggestion I'd take under consideration.
I also love the base. I imagine the Dark Lord sitting in same grand castle of his own with a mahogany wood throne in which he never sits in, just has for show.

yea.. the guy who auditioned for Voldemort offered that up... I do have to agree with some of it.
I couldn't give him the part though. He just wasn't a strong enough RPer in my opinion to play the dark lord.

Nope! Which is a shame because for about two seconds sounded like he knew it all -shakes head- -leans back- We wont be having a Lord Voldemort for a while now I suggest we get comfortable
Listen, would you mind if I revamped his place of residence?

Yea, I will most likely have to come up with weird titles to draw peoples attention to the topic becase after a while they will ignore all topics haveing anything to do with the Alliance.

The suggestion that Hogwarts was protected with the Fidelius Charm was saving oneself so people don't ask questions. It would be good to get that out to begin with so there is less explaining to do later on. And Howgarts is where Voldemort relates to the most: he has twice tried to become a teacher, tried to stay there over the summer during his teenage years, and he associates himself with it as he is the descendant of one of the co-founders - surely this gives him enough reason to want to claim it as his own and therefore the utmost protection must be put on it to make sure he is not allowed to take it over.
Voldemort actually had a chamber with a "velvet" chair - you will have noticed that I used that in my post. This was the place in Order of the Phoenix in which Harry was dreaming that he was actually in Voldemort's body, meeting with Rookwood. An interesting place, and I wonder where that could have been.

-snaps fingers- Oh my god that's right! I can't believe I forgot about the Velvet chair... -thinks- Well done But it doesn't change the fact that the post was absurdly short. Got a better one?

I hope the whole RP was looked at rather than one singular post, and I really hope there is a "quality over quantity" policy going on here. However, if I am being reconsidered then I would be more than happy to write a short novella for you all to simper over! Yet things like that require a lot of depth into character thought, and I am a strong believer in keeping the thoughts of evil characters like Voldemort rather quiet as it creates an "aura of mystery" about him.

I'm inclined to agree, and personally am a strong believer in quality over quantity--and please believe I say this in the greatest respects--but that was abysmal. Even for me. I know Voldemort's in there, but the player just seems too lazy to dole out an extra paragraph or two.
You said it yourself, Voldemort is towering, he is absolute and without equal, so astound me. Novella isn't required, but our RPs are still supposed to take us into the minds of our characters not just cheap actions. We'll save that to the idiots in Gryffindor.
