There was a dim light shining through the window of Remmy Weasley's room, it was early morning and the sun was just beginning to rise from behind the monstrous hills that surrounded Hogwarts. Remmy had been up for some time, she had woken up while it was still dark out and had been unable to get back to sleep. She'd had a dream that had sent her mind wondering, what if, she loved those dreams although it was annoying when she wasn't able to get back to sleep after she had had it.
She pulled her pillow tight in her arms laying her head on it, leaving the other one abandon with an impression of where her head had been laying. That was how she felt sometimes, alone, abandon, both of those things and more. She closed her eyes and let her mind wander for a moment, she had hoped that by doing so that she would fall back into the slumber that she had awoken from.
Remmy had become extremely frustrated when she opened her eyes and found that she was still unable to return to her peaceful sleep. She flung the blanket from her body and let the pillow that she had been resting on fall to the floor when it was released from her grasp.
"Ugh," she groaned.
She ran her hair through her red hair, something that she often did when she was frustrated or upset. She blinked a few times and let her eyes adjust to the dim light in her room be for reaching for the remaining pillow on her bed and holding it tightly against her body.
She sighed, why was she always the one having trouble getting to sleep? There wasn't really anything on her mind, or there wasn't anything that she wanted to admit to people or to herself for that matter. Her eyes scanned the room, it was a mess, but that was what came with being an intelligent person.
For a moment she could have sworn she heard something, but she didn't think anything of it, this old castle was alway creaking and moaning. She lit a lamp and sat it on her dresser. She then scooted back so that her back was against the head board, she pulled her knees to her chest the pillow in between them.
(I hope this is okay. I'm a little depressed at the moment so... I hope that explains my post a little bit.)
