The sound of the knife sinking an inch into the wall posts of Andys bed were the only thing that filled the silent room. The bed in question was actually strewn with various articles of clothing and books. That was the cleanest part of her room. Everything else was covered in dirty laundry, crumpled up peices of papers, and a few pageless notebooks.

Am.
Pck
So.
Pck
Bored.
Pck
With that last word she lazily flicked her wand and the knife came zooming back to her. She rolled over her bed, winced at the book corner that got shoved into her side, and stood up. As she glanced around her room and lazily stretched, her eyes widened.
"Thats it!"
And with those words, Andy Longbottom fell down into a sitting position, grabbed a notebook (with pages) closest to her, flipped it open to a blank page and started writing. To anyone watching, it would probably seem a little odd but to anyone who knew her, her sudden writing usually meant she'd been struck with a thought, or a paragraph, or a full on book and just HAD to write it down.

Julian heard an odd sound coming from the third floor as he walked down the corridor. It was starting to get annoying, he was bound and determine to find and put a stop to the racket. He had searched everywhere but Andy's room, that figured. Andy was quite a girl, she was clever but did lack common since a lot of the time.
"Knock, knock," he said knocking on her half open door. He peaked inside to see Andy in her usual position on the bed, notebook in hand and pen jotting down everything that came into her mind. He pushed her door open a bit more.
His eyes scanned the room, it was messy as always. Untidiness was said to be the signs of an intelligent and creative person, which in Andy's case was completely true. When they were little they did butt heads but now they were almost inseparable.
((Sorry, it's very short. I wasn't able to come up with much."

Andy looked up with a dismissive glance and then went back to writing. "Hey Julian, come on in...Im almost..." She grinned as her pencil came to a rest. "Done." She finally looked up at him and pointed to a slightly clean spot on her floor. "I've just finished writing up a whole new poem..you wanna hear it?" She looked at him expectantly. After a few seconds she suddnely jumped up. "oh crap! I totally forgot!"
She began to run around the room, almost in a frantic frenzy. "I totally spaced and forgot that i need to clean up the room for some too doo thing tomorrow..."
And with that she was grabbing her clothes and shoving them under her bed, in her closet and under anywhere she could find.

He took a seat on the floor that she had so kindly offered to him.
"umm..." he said before she freaked out on him, this was a usual thing with her, but still being the calm natured person he was it still stunned him every time.
He took her spot on the bed when she fanatically started throwing things every which way, when she got like this he was sometimes frightened that he would also be picked up and thrown under the bed or in the close.
"Calm down, what are you talking about?" he stood from the bed while her back was turned to him and grabbed her shoulder spinning her around so that she would explain.

Andy's breath caught as Julian spun her around and she looked him in the eye. "Um..." She shook her head vigorously to clear her thoughts. "I never noticed that he had such nice eyes...whoa..okay this is Julian we're talking about...just Julian" She sat down heavily on the bed and took a deep breath. "ugh! I hate this!" She fell backwards onto her bed and lay there, staring up at the canopy above her.
"I don't understand why people expect things from me" She grabbed her wand off her nightstand and began to wave it at the canopy. All at once, two figures appeared on them talking to eachother. One looked like herself, the other suspiciously like her father.
"We expect more from you Andromeda" She droned, in a deep voice, sounding almost exactly like her father. "You don't just go around telling people that they should drop dead from pixie bites" At this she rolled her eyes and began to speak normally. "Like that guy totally didn't have it coming." Andy sighed and closed her eyes, trying, unsuccesfully, the deep breathing excersises her younger sister taught her.
"You know...I don't understand why I'm always being told to act more.." at this she cleared her throat (her eyes are still closed mind you) and began to speak with a snotty accent. "dignified dahling, act your age andy, act this andy, act that. Its only my father you know...my mother has no problem with me...then again she doesnt really have a problem with anyone." She yawned.
"sorry if I'm ranting...its just been a boring day and iv'e been in my room all afternoon."

It didn't seem right for her dad to grip at her about this sort of thing, her father had told her stories of him from when they had attended Hogwarts together and it seemed that he really had no room to talk about her that way.
"Must be hard," he said and moved some of the clutter off of her bed so he could sit down, he gave her his 'it'll be okay, I promise' smile, "but, don't worry yourself with it too much, I'm sure he's just frustrated or something."
He stood from the bed and started picking up some of the stuff she had shoved under the bed, clothes mainly. He conjured a laundry hamper and started tossing the used clothes into it. He looked around, the floor was mostly clean now, except for the few crumple paper balls that still remained.
"My rooms like this as well, they say if you're messy and unorganized it is a sign or creativity and intelligence." he smiled and winked at her, "I'll help you clean the rest if you'd like, mine only gets cleaned about once a month or so," he said with a laugh. Don't forget to take these clothes down to the wash room later."

Andy sat back down on her bed and glanced around her now semi clean room. "You know...If it weren't for you I'd probably be buried up to my hips in dirty clothes and rubbish. " She gave him a small smile before it quickly faded. She was suddenly struck with a memory. She had them sometimes, randomly. Her father said that it wasn't right, her going quiet all of a sudden. Her mother always defended her with a small "Its her mind, let it do what it likes."
Flashback
It must be when she's 1 years old because the twins arent born yet...Her father, pacing up and down his and her mothers room, wringing his hands. At first what he's saying is garbled, mostly gibberish but soon, the words come into focus.
"We shouldn't still be here! We should get out while we can! What if he comes after us eh? What if he targets us next? I dont want my children growing up with no parents Luna... I dont want my kids being tempted intotheirlifestyle. I cant-"
At this he's cut off by her mother.
"Oh Neville. dont be so worried. We're good parents, whether we leave or not but wouldn't you be able to live with yourself better knowing that you'd stood up? We cant always run away from our fears. Sometimes..."She gets up and walks over to him, circling her arms around his neck. ...sometimes, we've got to face our troubles head on" She gives a dreamy smile. "even if it means hitting a hibblyplank or two..." At this her father smiles and kisses her. "Thats why I love you so much you know that..? Your just so darn random"
END FLASHBACK
Andy shook her head, clearing the memory from her head but even as she tried, she felt it settling itself in, making itself known, making itself there incase she ever needed any more doubting memories to make her feel more insecure. At these thoughts Andy looked at her wall, her grey eyes turning to steel, her mind closing off. She was not weak.

Julian smiled and nodded knowing that it was true, she would be buried in dirty laundry if he didn't help her clean up ever now and then. She went quiet for a while, that wasn't like her. Usually she was talkative, she seemed like her sister at the moment.
"Andy?" he said and she didn't respond, "Andy?" he said, this time he shook her shoulder a little bit, "Andy, are you in there," he said and shook her a little harder. She really wasn't answering him, that wasn't normal. He thought for a moment she had been joking around but she wasn't responding to even his fierce shaking.
He plopped down on the floor after his shaking had not work with bringing her out of her trance, after a few seconds she stirred, "Andy, what happened?" he asked.

Andy looked down at Julian from her seat on the bed. She was only able to hold eye contact for a moment. The only thing that she could think of at the moment was that something was wrong with her. Seriously wrong. She stared out her window for a moment before turning back to Julian and pasting a huge smile on her face. She shook her head so her hair would fly around a bit. "Look at me, going all catatonic on you" She playfully pushed his shoulder. "Bet you were scared!" At this she stood up, stretched and made her way towards the door.
"Come on, I'll race you down to the lake" and with that, she was gone.
Keep running..keep running. Escape. Her feet barely touched the ground. She was practically flying. Andy loved the wind in her hair, the feeling that she was weigtless, that she could lift off from the ground at any given time and then poof, she'd be gone. She had so much on her mind at the moment that she practically had the word "mischeif" spray painted across her forehead. As she neared the lake, her mind connected two facts.
1)There was no one else around
and
2) The lake looked so warm in the sun...
She sped up her pace, Suddenly alot more determined than before.

"Andy!" he said jumping from the bed when he saw her start running off. He didn't mind running it was just that he wasn't in the mood, but he knew he was going to have to get over it or look like a wimp. He laughed at the thought of Andy calling him a wimp when she knew that if he was going to run then he had to be in the mood. "Wait!"
He started to jog first and then picking up his speed to a full run, not a sprint though. Before he knew it his clumsiness had set in and he found himself face down on the hard ground, what had he tripped over? That wasn't important. He got up hurridly and proceeded to run, Andy was already at the lake.
