Sitting in detention, in the south wing just before the stairs to the tower. It was time like these that made Jason question his choice in remaining at the school that often just made him feel so damn annoyed.
The teacher had taken a short leave of absence, but expected him to keep writing lines in his notebook. Hah. Right. Although Jason knew better, that the chances of secret survalience was quite high, he stopped doing what he was told the moment they had left him on his own.
He slid his chair back slightly and with his hands both resting on the back of his neck, and put both feet on the desk, one crossed over the other. A usual insubordinate stance. This wasn't far off from being totally suffocating, due to how boring and silent the room was. Well actually Jason could hear some bird outside, but that wasn't enough for him. He had a busy/A.D.H.D mind, and none of this help him.
Signing deeply, He began to whistle out a catchy little tune, not out of happiness, but out of need for human sound. It sort of had the beat to something like Becks 'E-Pro".

Sophia was the ideal student. Quiet, respectful, and a hard-worker. She wasn’t a big fan of school or the work involved, but it was her one-way ticket out of the life she lived currently. It was very surprising to find her wandering to the towers to attend detention. Well, really, she wasn’t given detention. She had to talk to the moderator of the detention, because, unfortunately, it was her generous Transfiguration teacher. Sophia was in need of a little extra help because she couldn’t quite get the charm down. She figured that since she would be watching the detention students, her professor would have no problem with a few minutes of extra help.
She couldn’t believe that she was about to walk into detention. Uninvited. What if everyone threw her dirty looks? That wouldn’t be the first time. She smoothed her plaid, pleated skirt, and adjusted her cute little blue polo, making sure she looked her best. She tossled her curls, hoping they would look lively and whatnot. Always wanting to make the best impression was one thing Sophia strongly believed in.
The one person Sophia didn’t think she would run into was Jason. As soon as she stepped into the room, her eyes grew wide, and her heart jumped into her throat. Just perfect. She probably looked like a fool standing there, gaping at him wide-eyed. She tried to cover up her very embarrassing moment, but tilting her head curiously to the side. What was he doing there? Detention? For what?
“Oh, um…hey. Sorry about this. I was just looking for my professor. She said she’d be up here,” Sophie rambled. “What did you do?”
She floated over to him, sitting on the desktop next to his.
