Exhausting. The grounds of Hogwarts were simply that. Hill, after hill, after hill. And no matter where you went, on the grounds, it was green! No dry patches any where! But that's how she had already remembered it. Hogwarts was always perfect, give or take a few students, but Hogwarts itself was the image of perfect. That was Perfects new definition, Hogwarts. Like that would ever happen, though.
Celeste stumbled, and after a short fight with gravity she found herself on her back, staring up at the stars. Was it her or did they seem overly bright tonight? If she was any good at astrology she would try to pick out constellations. Wait...or was it astronomy? It was astronomy, wasn't astrology Zodiac? Oh well, either way she was terrible at both. They sounded the same, and didn't the Zodiac have to deal with stars any ways? Or was that gods? Celeste snorted at the thought and touched a hand to her now pounding head. She'd been walking around the grounds for three hours, trying to find an easy way back to hogwarts, and on trying to find a short cut, she got lost. She was good at that though, that's why the few really good friends she had called her Pathfinder.
The sky grew darker as it reach twilight, the stars even more pronounced as before when Celeste opened her eyes. Did she fall asleep? Obviously. Celeste rubbed her eyes and forced her self up into a sitting position. She looked at the ground at her feet, then up at the hill she had sworn she climbed minutes before. Had she slid down the hill when she dozed? The evidence was apparent, on the hill and on her clothes. Lesi mad a disgusted face and tried half heartedly to brush the dirt off her clothes. She never was good at "house hold" magic, but she figured she may be able to clean her clothes. But then again when she had tried to dry her clothes once, she set them on fire. So she would forego the cleaning of the clothes.
Grumbling Lesi pushed herself up, getting dirt on her hand. She stumbled up the hill, muttering under her breath as she did so. When she reached the top of the hill she dimly saw Hogwarts through the darkness, but she couldn't see the hills or paths, actually she couldn't see any thing in front of her. Muttering louder Lesi reached into her pants pocket to grab her wand and instead came out with a pen. Swearing she tossed it down the hill, and let herself have a lit fit. Shrieking and flinging her arms she cursed her bad luck, her clumsiness, and the fact that she lost her wand, again!
Glumly, Lesi looked back down the hill, where she had come from, and with a long suffering sigh she started back down it. She went slowly, knowing her she would trip over an imaginary root and go flying down the hill. Or she would trip on her wand. Had she dropped it when she dozed off? Possibly. Would she be lucky enough to find it. Probably...when the sun came up. Lesi started humming an old nursery rhyme her mother use to sing softly to her. After a few moments Lesi started singing it softly as she searched and sulked.
Star Light Star bright, The first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, Have the wish I wish tonight.

Dimitri was the who was always sent on the mission of 'bring them to me', usually they were wild goose chases since the person had usually gotten killed. The Dark Lord himself had called for Celeste, but she didn't come.
'Find her Dimitri, find her and bring her to me' those were his orders and he always did as he was told, this time he wasn't even told why he was to find her. He knew that she was going to be at Hogwarts, and thankfully he knew how to gain entrance.
When he had done so he landed and started walking with his broom in hand. Was that her? he thought to himself seeing a wandering shadow up ahead. He crept closer hoping that is wasn't one of the little brats out on a midnight walk or something.
"Pssst. Celeste, is that you?" he paused for a moment, no reply, "It's Dimitri, if that's you you had better say something or it will be the end for both of us."
((Sorry it's so short.))

At the sound of the male voice Celeste jumped three feet, and fell in a heap, cursing and swearing. She muttered angrily to herself, about being a dolt and jumping like a coward, but luckily she landed on her wand. With her luck it would be broken, Celeste rolled, and picked up wand up as she launched herself to her feet. She brushed the dirt off her pants, then checked her wand, which was in one piece, then whirled toward Dimitri, her red hair flying and hitting her in the face.
"Yes, it's me." Celeste said softly to the darkness. She wasn't whispering, merely lowering her voice. Not that there would be anyone out her to see them, but just in case. She glanced down at her wand, and thought it better not to light it...someone might be watching. She walked toward the voice, her frustration mounting. What was Dimitri doing here? She frowned and bit her lip, then ran a hand through her hair. "What are you doing here, Dimitri?" She hissed, looking for his shadow. She gripped her wand, but didn't light it, she wanted to get to a secure place first, one further from hogwarts. "Have I missed something?" She asked, her voice lowering even more, she could barely hear herself. "You know, I haven't been at Hogwarts the last couple of days." She told him, in case he hadn't known. She'd been off in the mountains...but that was a different story.

He was suprised when she asked about why he was here, surely she knew that the Dark Lord had called for her, he figured she was just ignoring the pain that was on her arm. He gave her a puzzled look that he was sure she couldn't see.
"Master sent me to find you," he tried to contact you but he got no responce." he told her shrugging and standing from his crouched positions.
He motioned for her to followed him away from the castle, he made a big enough notion with his arms that he was sure she saw it. He started off toward the forbidden forest where he was sure no one would be able to see them.
((I am very sorry... I couldn't think of anything of I would have kept babbleing with his thoughts.))

Celeste stared at Dimitri for a few moments, then looked at her arm where she was marked. It wasn't burning, but she could see by how dark it was that The Dark Lord had been trying to reach her. No doubt wondering about her mountain trip went, Celeste scowled and followed Dimitri, she almost missed his gesture. She walked after him, letting her thoughts run wild. Why hadn't she felt the pain? It was how the Dark Lord got them to notice he needed them, she bit her lower lip. He didn't like it when they neglected him.
When they were far enough away, and she dared to speak, she did. "I have a high tolerance for pain, and the last few days have been very...distracting." Celeste glanced around, there were very few who came into the forbidden forest, but none the less, few was too many. As a spy she had to be cautious, that was her number one, always be on your toes. "I must not of noticed." She tugged on a lock of hair, a nervous habit, then lit her wand. It was bright at first, and blinded her, but she adjusted to it. She pointed it toward the ground, so that it was dim, but she could still see Dimitri. She didn't like talking to people in the dark, and she didn't think this was an urgent matter. If anyone came along, and hopefully they didn't hear anything, they would be able to play it off.
"Did he say anything?" She asked hesitantly, glancing at the ground, then back at him. Her red hair was in her face, blocking most of her view of him, and she tried to tilt her head in an effort to slide it off her face, but it only made it worse. She muttered darkly, and pulled her hair back from her face.
[[It's fine...I usually do that anyways. Gives more description, I think.]]

He raised an eyebrow at her, he knew that if she gave that excuse to the Dark Lord he was sure to test her, and he was sure the results wouldn't be good... at all. He thought about how to phrase what he wanted to tell her, it took longer than he would have liked but he finally got it worked out.
"Look," he said with a grim expression, "you can't feed the Dark Lord that high tolerance for pain bull, trust me, you don't want to know what's in store if you do. I suggest that you give him the truth and nothing but the truth." he looked at her barely able to make out the features of her face in the dim light her wand was giving off.
He walked farther into the forest, "No, he told me nothing of why he wanted you, my orders were just to come, find you, and report back to headquarters." he nodded.
((Sorry, I have a slight case of writers block it seems.))

Celeste scowled at him. It was the truth, she wasn't lying. "I don't lie, Dimitri." She snapped, taking her wand and smacking him on the back of the head. "Everyone knows that." She resisted the urge to poke his eyes out with her wand, or blind him. Instead she rammed into the side of him as she moved to go ahead of him on the path. What a prat. Why would she lie? It was the truth. Of course she knew not to tell The Dark Lord she had a high tolerance of pain, she would leave that part out, plus he'd be to distracted with the information she had to give him.
What did he think she was? Celeste wondered angrily, she wasn't a new babe to the DE pool. She swerved off the path, knowing if they went down it they'd either go back to Hagrid's hut, or meet some nasty beats. She wanted neither. Once they reached a small clearing, that was further in the Forbidden forest than Celeste liked to travel, she whirled to face him.
"Get this straight, Dimitri. I don't lie. And when I say I have a high tolerance for pain, I do. And I'm not stupid. I'm not going to tell the Dark lord that, I'll tell him the truth, but I'll leave out the pain. I was distracted, and was held up." She wasn't going to tell him why, or where, or what she was doing. The Dark Lord hadn't given him instructions to find that out, so fore her well being she was keeping her lips zipped. She brought her wand up so that she could see his face better, then quickly brought it down. No, she didn't want to look at Dimitri. It was hard to not look at a man as good looking as Dimitri and not be attracted to him. Celeste shrugged it off, then raised an eye brow. "Am I suppose to head back with you? The Alliance is already suspicious, and I have my twin cousins on my tail." She snarled at the thought of the Double A's.
((its fine. I hope that wasn't too bad))

He knew that she wasn't lying to him, but he could chance telling her not to say that, for some didn't think before they talked and he hadn't known her long enough to know if she was one of those people.
"I know you're not a liar, but to be honest, I just don't want people to get hurt," he paused for a second, "no matter what side they're on." he knew if the Dark Lord ever heard him say that it would be the end of him, and his fate probably wouldn't be death, it would most likely be much, much worse than that.
He looked down to the ground, and then back up at her. He'd just shown emotion, something Death Eaters weren't supposed to do. "I would tell you more, but if the Dark Lord decided he wanted to see what was inside that pretty little head then I would have to flee or be killed." he said his eyes flickering in the dim lighting of the forest. "It's not good that the are suspicious, if you can find a way to meet with him tonight then I will gladly fly you back so that your cover isn't blown." he told her with a nod, "hop on," he told her mounting his broom and leaving room for her on the back.
((Hmm, I hope that this is okay.))

Celeste's eyes widened as Dimitri told her he didn't want anyone, on either side, getting hurt. For her to say that, was different. Most death eaters, and even the Dark Lord, understood that she had family on the Alliance side she didn't want to get hurt, but the most important thing was that she was loyal to the Dark Lord. Celeste hesitated, then shook her head at Dimitri. "Your foolish, Dimitri." She told him softly. Ever since she had met him he had never once shown emotion and now...She gulped at the mention of the Dark Lord trying to get inside her. He might try that too, if he felt she was hiding information. She would never do that, only because he private memories were her own. All of them. She ignored the small fluttering her heart did when he mentioned her "pretty little head", just because he said that, didn't mean he had any feelings toward her. Celeste sighed and shook her head. "I told them I had to get away from the twins, they think I'm off in Switzerland some where." She waved a hand in a random direction then looked down at his broom as if it was going to come alive and eat her whole.
"Contrary to popular belief I did not inherit by Parents Quidditch or broom riding skills. I like my feet planted firmly on the ground, thank you. I enjoy the ground better than they sky. If I fall I know I'll hit the ground and not go SPLAT!" She slapped her hands together and smooshed them, then gave Dimitri a crooked smile. "If I fall off, I'm haunting you." She climbed onto the back of the broom, biting her lower lip and hoped she didn't cry like a baby. She hated brooms, it was most likely because she fell off it at a Quidditch game. She enjoyed the sport, but hated heights. What a baby she was. Jeez.
((bleh that sucked))

He watched her as she mounted the broom. "Hang on tight," he told her and pulled her arms tightly enough around his waste so that he was sure that she wasn't going to t get hurt.
He kicked off of the ground and went speeding into the dark sky. He glanced back at her went they had slowed down a bit, "You okay back there?" he asked her patting her hands that were clasped together and then laughing wickedly and in a slightly teasing way.
Dimitri loved being up high, which was why when he was outside readin, or doing some other thing that he enjoyed, he usually sat on a high tree brance. Like most would suspect, he'd fallen quite a few times, but he was never really phased by any of them. The worst thing that had ever happened when he had fallen was a broken wrist.
((Ick! I sorta died... lol))

((I would say...lol...we all have our moments.))
Celeste muttered something dark to him as an answer to her question. Was she doing okay? NO! She hated heights. People were meant to keep their feet firmly on the ground, that's why they had gravity. She spoke her thoughts to Dimitri, muttering more about anit-gravity spells and interfering bastards that "Us Wizard/witches are."
After a while, and a lot of Dozing, Celeste started asking. "Are we there yet?" Every few seconds, trying to annoy Dimitri. She was good at that, and it was one of her favorite hobbies. She use to sit in her small library at home, next to her father, and bother him until he told her to sod off. He actually would use more vulgar language, and being the annoying pest she was she would cry to her mother, who would go off on her father. Ah, those were the days. "Honestly Dimtiri! Are we there yet?" She snapped, and if she hadn't been terrified to let go she would of crossed her arms.
((Bleh. I died too))

"For the last time," he paused and sighed, "It won't be much longer." he said with a wicked evil grin, the one that everyone around him was used to seeing. He looked back at her, wondering what she would do if he just so happened to dive with her holding on, would she freak out, what her wondered, what. "If you don't quit asking," he said letting go of the front of the broom and grabbing both of her wrists, "I'll be forced to throw you off... and say you fell." he joked, he would never do that to anyone.
He took his hands from her wrist and put them back on the front of the room, they were going farther down then he had intended, he made the broom shoot sharply upward. He looked back at her, he truely wasn't the heartless uncareing person some people tended to think he was, but he could come right out and say that he wished he had never chosen a side to join.
His father hadn't given him many choices, it was join the Death Eaters... or face the Dark Lords wrath, and at the time he was just a boy, one who was scared to die. Now he gave the impression of being cold and emotionless, when in turn he was a very deep thinker and was more emotional than most gave him credit for.

"Put your hands back on the broom!" Celeste shrieked, leaning back as she tried to free her wrists from her his firm grip. Celeste tried to breath calmly, put her heart was racing, her mind trying to frantically tell herself he wouldn't throw her off. What a wimp she was, freaking out just because they were....She gulped as she looked down toward the ground...she was thankful when he let her wrists go. She clasped his waist tightly, hoping she was hurting him.
She shrieked louder and longer when the shooted upward, she was sure he was deaf now, since she had screamed in his ear. She clung to her waist, cursing at him. She let go long enough to pummel his back. "You jerk! That was not funny! It wasn't!" She hit him once more, then crossed her arms. She wouldn't touch him again, if she wasn't afraid of falling off she would have scooted as far back on the broom as she could go. To think she had actually thought she had feelings for him...she scowled, and swiped at her flying locks of hair. She looked away when he looked back at her, then when she noticed he was still looking she stuck her tongue out at him and wrinkled her nose. Then she laughed. "Your still a jerk." She said with an amused grin.

"It's alright, It's alright, look" he said grinning, "I put my hands back." he nodded, " I was only kidding about throwing you off, you know I'd never do that... not even to my worst enemy..." he paused thinking about what he had just said, "okay," he smirked, "maybe to my worst enemy, but not to you."
It was a while before either of them spoke again, "Look," he said pointing down at a brightly lit base, "the base," he smiled and nodded. "Hang on," he told her. He dove downard and landed near the entrance, "here we are,"
He hoped that the Dark Lord wasn't going to punish her to suvierly, or not at all. He blew and air kiss, "I wish thee luck," he joked.
[Blah! Brain decided not to function again.]

"How do you know I'm not your enemy?" Celeste asked sweetly, resisting the urge to strangle. What he did was not funny, okay maybe it was, but still. Why her? She muttered something dark, and gulped. She could see the base now. Within seconds they were diving, Celeste managed not to scream, but instead threw her arms quickly around Dimitri, and shut her eyes. This was the last time she EVER got on a broom..at least with someone else.
Celeste hesitantly took a step forward, then turned to look at Dimitri. He blew her an air kiss, which made her smile, but she didn't return it. "I wish thee luck," She scowled at his joke, then turned and wandered into the base. What ever she had done must of been bad if Dimitri had to come after, or anyone for that matter. She bit her lip and rubbed her mark lightly. Hopefully she would live to see another day.
A few hours later Celeste walked out of the base, sore, and pissed. She grumbled as she started down the narrow road, hooking her thumbs on her belt loops. "I wish he just killed me." She muttered, shooting an angry look back at the base. Of course her lord hadn't been happy with her, but he accepted her excuse. Fat toad, he was. She muttered more, then ran a hand through her hair. The one thing she hated about coming to the base by someone else was that she had to walk back after wards. Lesi kicked a rock, then hopped on one foot, and then the other for a few feet. She had hoped they would relocated her from Hogwarts, but nope, they wanted her to stay there. Well, she thought glumily, it could get much worse than it was now.
Just as she thought that the heavens opened up and poured rain on her. Soaked within minutes Celeste kept walking. She was near the woods that would take her to hogwarts, it would take maybe a day or two to walk there, perhaps longer. That's if she didn't get lost, or stop to sleep. Celeste shook her head wildly, letting her hair fly around her face, slapping her. She wished the war would just end. She wished she didn't have to go back to hogwarts, or go to the base. She wished Dimitri was with her. She told herself she wanted him there only because he had a broom capable of taking her home, but he was probably on another mission...oh the joys of walking.
((bleh!))
